<span style="font-family: Arial"><h2 style="text-align: center">Coordinator of Recruiting and Admissions - Gies College of Business</h2><h3 style="text-align: center">Gies Graduate Programs, Online </h3><br><h4>Job Summary</h4>Provide recruitment and admissions support in a fast-paced, professional, customer-focused and results-driven environment. Collaborate with program staff to drive enrollment growth for graduate programs through the development of strategic recruitment and relationships and provide admissions support for current and future degree launches. By collaborating with faculty, facilitators, current students, and alumni, the coordinator will help showcase the Gies experience and build strong pipelines of qualified applicants. This role will primarily serve online graduate programs. <p><span style="font-family: Arial"><b><font size="2">Duties &amp; Responsibilities</font></b></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Recruitment</font></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Serve as a point of contact and resource for all Gies Graduate programs. Counsel and advise prospects as they move through the recruiting process, including consulting them on program fit, answering questions about the admissions process, alleviating concerns, and assisting with application submission.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Assist or lead the recruitment, training, and retention of student ambassadors and connection of prospective learners with student ambassadors. Source and organize student ambassador stories for publication.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Plan, conduct, and/or present at recruiting events both in-person and virtually, promoting Gies Graduate programs. Manage logistics for recruiting events, including Zoom setup and breakout room management, event staffing, etc. Some night and weekend travel obligations as well as domestic and possibly international travel for recruiting events.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Assist or lead the recruitment, training, and retention of a team of hourly employees and/or student workers. Provide training and support in best practices related to customer service.</font></span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Recruiting Marketing</font></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Assist with the implementation of recruitment marketing and communications plans, including, but not limited to social media, video creation, websites, blogs, webinars, and email and calling campaigns.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Assist with the creation and proofing of email and text messaging campaigns for prospective students to understand Gies differentiators, details of the application process and event information.</font></span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Admissions</font></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Gies and University of Illinois processes.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Review admissions applications using discretion and independent judgment in evaluating and comparing applications; and provide input to the admissions committee for admissions decisions.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Perform informational and assessment interviews of potential candidates.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Assist with operational functions including, but not limited to transcript verification, course articulation, processing and notification of admissions decisions.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Monitor trends and challenges in application processes that will help enhance future admissions cycles.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Identify, investigate and troubleshoot barriers to the application process. Familiarity and comfortable with using video-based web conferencing technology.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Ability to interact effectively as a team member and work collaboratively with a diverse group of stake holders.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial"><font size="2">Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.</font></span></li></ul><h4>Appointment Information</h4><p>This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after search close date. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience while considering internal equity.
