Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience that equipped them with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: skill in formulation, justification, and execution of budgets within a healthcare or research environment; analyzing and formulating annual research budgets; analyzing and evaluating contract and grant budgets; monitoring control point expenditures; utilizing databases and information systems to compute and analyze data; and preparing recurring and non-recurring reports. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess at least 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
