Position Summary

Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner.This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching.The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes.Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.

  • Ability to learn and use computer systems in order to manage patient information.
  • Ability to participate in team-building efforts on units; supports and models teamwork
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patients requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate versatility and willingness to work within the PRN RN Standardized Program as set forth in assigned Unit Based or Hospital Based commitment levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Full-Time availability required:

Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays required.
