Data Quality Temp
The Temporary Quality Data Analyst will support NCQA’s enterprise data quality initiatives by assisting with the review, analysis, and cleanup of historical Salesforce account data. This role focuses on identifying potential duplicate records, applying documented data governance rules, and preparing records for review and approval, ensuring high-quality, reliable customer data across systems. Our account database contains approximately 109,000 records, with an estimated 50% duplication rate. This role will work to reduce duplicates and assign records to proper hierarchical structure, which is essential for accurate reporting, segmentation, and strategic decision-making. This is a temporary position for approximately 6 - 9 months working full-time (Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week).
Key Responsibilities - Review Salesforce account data and reports to identify potential duplicate records based on defined criteria.
- Apply documented business and data governance rules to assess account eligibility for deduplication.
- Manually group and analyze potential duplicate accounts, documenting rationale and identifying risks.
- Prepare candidate deduplication lists and supporting documentation for governance and approval review.
- Support approved Salesforce account merges in accordance with role-based access and separation-of-duties controls.
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all reviewed and processed records.
- Escalate data quality issues, exceptions, or policy conflicts to designated data stewards or governance teams.
- Track progress and support reporting on historical data cleanup efforts.
- Support historical data clean up to associate accounts to the appropriate hierarchy structure.
Expected Outcomes - De-duplicated, hierarchically structured account dataset, threshold 90% accuracy.
- Improved reporting accuracy and decision-making confidence.

- Ongoing maintenance and oversight of duplicates and account hierarchy by QSA Sr. Analyst Quality Audit & Operations
- Experience working with Salesforce (Lightning preferred) or similar CRM platforms. Salesforce data management experience preferred.
- Strong data analysis and data quality review skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to follow documented processes, policies, and governance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including filtering, sorting, and basic formulas.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and issue escalation.
- Comfort working with structured data and repetitive review tasks.
Compensation & Timeframe: - This is a temporary position pays in the range of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- This position is expected to last for approximately 6 - 9 months.
- Full-time hours Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week.
